Cutto turns your photos, videos and a short brief into an edited video. This policy explains what the app sends to our servers, why, and how long it stays there.

No account

Cutto has no sign-up. On first launch the app gets a random device key from our server; it is stored in your phone's keychain and identifies your projects, tokens and plan. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.

What you upload

The photos, videos and music you pick, any documents about your project you attach (for example a PDF or DOCX describing your app), the brief, the project name and the edits you request are uploaded to our servers only to make and edit your video. They are not used for advertising and not sold.

AI processing (CuttoAI)

Cutto's AI director and editor run on CuttoAI models. To plan, edit and review your video, describe frames, and create artwork, CuttoAI processes your brief, the project name, the edits and frame questions you ask, the text of documents you attach, and still frames, transcripts and descriptions of your photos and videos. Before your first video the app asks for your permission to do this; without it, nothing is sent and no video is made. This data is used only to make and edit your video and is not used to train AI models. CuttoAI is built on large language and vision models from a third-party AI provider, which processes this data on our behalf only to answer our requests, does not use it to train its models and may keep it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting it. Speech in your videos is transcribed on our own servers.

• Uploaded files are deleted automatically 24 hours after your video is finished.
• Finished videos are deleted automatically 7 days after they are finished.
• You can delete any video at any time (long press on a project → Delete). This also deletes its uploads, its working files and the records of the AI agents that worked on it.

Voice input

When you dictate a brief, the audio is streamed to our own server, turned into text and deleted right away. It is not stored and not shared. If our server can't be reached, the app may use your phone's built-in speech recognition (Apple or Google) instead, under their privacy terms.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app sends our server its push token and the app language, so we can tell you when a video is ready. You can turn notifications off in Settings at any time.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by the App Store or Google Play. We receive the store's signed transaction to add your tokens or plan; we never see your payment details. We keep a history of your token movements (bonuses, charges, refunds, purchases), which you can see in Profile.

Share links

If you create a share link, anyone with the link can watch that video until the link expires or you delete the video.

Technical data

Our server records the network a device registers from to limit abuse, plus technical logs needed to run the service (they include device IDs and IP addresses and are deleted after 30 days). Cutto has no third-party analytics.

Ads

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner, ad cards between the styles on Home and, only when you choose, rewarded videos that give tokens, revisions or a temporary unlock. On iPhone, Google may use your device's advertising identifier to show more relevant ads only if you allow tracking when iOS asks; in the EEA and UK you are also asked for consent first. On Android, Google may use the advertising ID under your device's ad settings, where you can reset or delete it. You can change these choices at any time (Profile → Ad privacy choices, or your phone's Settings). When you watch a rewarded ad, our server receives a signed confirmation with your device ID (never your device key) so it can credit the reward. Cutto Pro removes ads. Delete everything

Profile → Delete all my data erases all your videos, uploads, share links, token history and your device record from our servers. Store transaction IDs are kept so a purchase can't be granted twice, and copies in our database backups are deleted within 30 days. Purchase records kept by Apple or Google are not affected, and an active Cutto Pro subscription keeps running until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Children

Cutto is not directed at children under 13.
